Jeff Ferrier is one of Western Canada’s leading progressive public affairs and advocacy executives and leaders. With more than 20 years of experience in consulting, government and politics, Jeff has served as strategic counsel and trusted advisor to several high-profile public and private sector organizations and brands, and Indigenous Nations. 



Before co-founding Framepoint, Jeff built successful BC public affairs and advocacy practices at three leading BC-based public affairs firms, serving clients in the forestry, healthcare, housing, technology, transportation, energy, mining, education, agriculture and not-for-profit sectors. At COVID-19’s peak, Jeff served as Executive Director of Health Communications for the Government of British Columbia. Jeff has built a reputation as a strong and effective public affairs and advocacy strategist, story-teller and problem solver, with a track record of delivering real and meaningful results.

Before moving into consulting, Jeff was a journalist, a director of communications with Ontario’s New Democratic Party (NDP) and media relations and issues management leader at Canada’s largest social housing provider. He has served as communications counsel to federal, provincial and local government leaders, including BC Premier David Eby, former BC Premier John Horgan, and federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh. 



Originally from Timmins, Ontario, Jeff works in Vancouver and Victoria and lives in BC’s Southern Gulf Islands. He earned a bachelor’s degree in the study of religion from the University of Toronto and completed journalism courses at Ryerson University.
